Pot: 14 cm.
Its name derives from Greek and literally means "with the appearance of a snake", referring to its stems which, in most species, with growth tend to crawl on the ground. They have an appearance that can often be confused with that of cacti, due to the longitudinal ribs and the hexagonal tubercles. Sometimes they are equipped with microscopic thorns or, in other species, very small foliage, which they tend to lose over time. Its small star-shaped flowers of very particular colors are extremely ornamental, have fleshy petals that fade into shades of yellow and red and thus give a strong touch of liveliness to the succulent but also to the environment. As they grow, the stems that "crawl" on the ground tend to root: in this way large tangled bushes are generated that grow considerably in width, making them perfectly suitable for decorating your interior even in suggestive hanging pots!
