Boswellia neglecta

A small shrub that can reach up to 8 m in height. It has a dark gray stem with multiple ramifications, from which lanceolate and slightly silky leaves of a bright green color emerge. During the inflorescence, at the apex of long peduncles, it blooms with small greenish-white flowers. Much sought after and highly appreciated for its resin, which is used to produce a particular incense (Borena).
