In its variegated form, M. guentheri presents yellowish spots in the exact points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such spots will never be identical in different plants, making each of them unique in its kind. This type of succulent is an ancient and refined species, very appreciated by collectors. Also known as 'Sausage Spurge', it has green cylindrical stems, covered by numerous protruding tubercles with white apex. The green leaves, slightly spotted, are lanceolate, fleshy and knurled on the edges. The flowers are small, tubular bright red colors. It is an easy plant to grow. Over time it can resemble a jellyfish. Synonym: Euphorbia guentheri.
