Pereskia spathula f. variegated (Cactus)

The variegated shape of this plant has yellowish shades and spots in the exact points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such stains will never be identical in different plants making each of them unique in its kind and for this reason much appreciated by collectors around the world. In the normal form P. spathula is a cactus with peculiar characteristics. It has a thin trunk of a bright green, from the top of which elongated leaves develop, which widen towards the ends, and then culminate in a slight tip. On the trunk there are scattered areolas, from which thin spines and a slight downy that gently envelops the trunk are generated. With its particular look, Pereskia spathula will bring a sober exotic touch to your environments.
