Pereskia sacharosa is a specimen of cactaceae with a shape similar to that of a small tree. Its stems with woody bark are very branched and reach notable heights of up to 5 m; they are covered with large, shiny green leaves. The thorns are present along the branches and give the plant a very attractive appearance. We will also find its flowers along the twigs and they are white in colour.
