Turbinicarpus pseudomacrochele

Miniature cactus, which tends to grow up to a few centimeters in height and only rarely aggregates over the years. It has globose or cylindrical stems of a nice intense green, enriched by low or sometimes conical tubercles at the apex of which, from white areoles, thin light or brownish-yellow thorns emerge. They are rather flexible with a twisted and bristly appearance, which give each specimen a truly unique charm with their length that almost exceeds the total size of the cactus! Its uniqueness is accentuated when its large flowers bloom, which colour can vary from light pink to extremely bright purple.
