Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri

The name Titanopsis derives from the Greek "titanos" which means calcareous rock and "opsis" which means "similar", given its resemblance to small calcareous rocks, in nature this characteristic helps the plant to camouflage itself in the surrounding environment.  This beautiful grey or bluish-green succulent grows in the shape of a rosette. On the ends of its leaves there are many wart-like protuberances. In late autumn you can admire its beautiful yellow-orange daisy-like flowers.
