Sulcorebutia pulchra f. variegated

The variegated shape of this cactus has yellowish shades of color in the points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; these shades will never be identical in different plants thus making each of them unique and very appreciated by collectors. In the normal form is a plant of opaque green color, equipped with long and narrow areoles, from which emerge sand-colored thorns, combed, protruding and of variable length. They are usually found surrounded by small shoots, with which, growing slowly, form clusters or even quite extensive pillows. During spring, it produces funnel-shaped flowers with characteristic nuanced colors, from pale to purple-magenta, which stand out even more thanks to their natural shine.
