Sulcorebutia polymorpha

Its name derives from Greek and means “many forms”, which characterizes the variability of forms it takes, when grows in its natural habitat. This plant is rarely found solitary, because it clusters very easily. It has a light green epidermis, covered with tubercles with slightly downy areoles, from which sturdy white, yellow or brown spines with darker, almost black tips emerge. During the flowering period, it produces beautiful magenta inflorescences.
