Description:
S. meintjesii is among the most popular varieties of Staparesia. It has glaucous-brown green stems with fine tubercles. The habit is that of stapelia, and they grow by branching. Its beautiful star-shaped flowers have a yellowish hue with numerous red dots. They are large and give the plant an attractive appearance.

It requires a lot of light during all seasons, however avoiding direct rays from the sun especially during the hottest hours of the day, as they would risk causing unsightly sunburn.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and above all never below 12°C, for this reason it is recommended to place it in sheltered places during the winter (especially not humid).
Water regularly in summer, but only when the soil is very dry. In cold periods, significantly reduce water supply (about once every 1-2 months).
It is optimal to use a specific substrate for succulents, to which fine sand can be added to drain more.
They do not require frequent fertilization, it will be sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering water once a year.
