Soehrensia bruchii is a globular plant that is widespread in the mountains of Argentina. It is generally a solitary species and is rarely found in groups. Its stem is made up of many well-marked ribs and its color is a beautiful light green. The spines are straight and generally can vary from whitish, silver and reddish. Plant care:
It requires a lot of light during all seasons and likes direct sunlight, with the exception of the youngest plants, which should be shaded during the hottest hours.
It is advisable to place it in sheltered places, but always very bright, when temperatures drop below 10 °C.
Water moderately in hot weather, only when the soil is completely dry. In winter, however, it is advisable to completely stop watering and avoid humidity.
A substrate suitable for cacti, which is well draining is an optimal solution.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
