Sinningia eumorpha

The name of the species comes from the Greek and literally means "with beautiful shape", with probable reference both to the neat and perfectly symmetrical geometry of the foliage and to the perfection of its inflorescences! It is a succulent with a small size, in which the slender stems do not exceed 20 cm in height, adorning themselves with slightly oval, large and flat leaves, rich in veins and meticulously jagged along the margins. The epidermis is bright and of a pleasant dark green that turns towards the purple on the lower surface of the foliage; the charm of the specimen is amplified by a whitish down that covers the entire leaf, giving it graceful silvery reflections and protecting it, at the same time, from atmospheric agents. One of the strengths of this succulent is undoubtedly the inflorescence: in summer, elegant bell-shaped flowers of a delicate white shade of violet bloom and, sometimes, enriched by peculiar yellow streaks inside the floral tube.
