It is a very particular succulent, arranged in a rosette shape that remains closed or only slightly open with a maximum diameter of a few centimeters, which does not grow much in height but tends to spread horizontally in a pleasant carpet of globular rosettes, slightly depressed at the apex. It has greenish-gray leaves, which can fade to beautiful red tones, when exposed to the direct sun, completely covered with a dense down that makes them truly unique (hence the name of the species 'ciliosum', which means "fitted with fringe"). In summer, their peculiar appearance is adorned with yellow flowers that bloom at the apex of long, straight stems. They are perfect plants to decorate your interiors, as well as any type of garden, thanks to their enviable resistance even to temperatures much below zero degrees!
