Description:
The Scilla violacea f. variegated is a succulent plant that forms small bulbs visible outside the ground. The leaves are small, elongated and gradually narrow towards the tip. The epidermis is of a deep green color with darker spots scattered along the foliage, the edges are creamy yellow; the lower part of the leaves is of a wonderful purplish color, hence the name of the species. Flowering occurs in late spring-summer, giving life to small green and purple flowers that form clusters. The Scilla violacea f. variegated is a splendid succulent, which is ideal for adorning your interiors!

It likes the Mediterranean climate of the areas where it comes from, therefore it requires mild temperatures and must be sheltered when they drop below 5 °C.
