Sansevieria trifasciata

Sansevieria trifasciata is a succulent plant. Its sword-shaped leaves are stiff and erect, of a deep green color with lighter horizontal streaks and a distinctive creamy yellow border. Flowering occurs on long stems, blooming with tubular-shaped flowers of a greenish-white color. Like many of the Sansevierias, it has the ability to filter the air from volatile chemical agents often used in cleaning products (benzene, formaldehyde and trichlorethylene), making it perfect for houses, offices and any type of closed spaces.
