Description:
S. Masoniana is a succulent plant native to Africa with a very particular aspect. It has oval shaped leaves, similar to a fin, and that is why it is also called 'Shark fin', 'Whale fin' etc. The epidermis is dark green with numerous spots and maculature of a lighter green color, whilst along the margins it has a reddish line. This piece can not miss in your collection.

Plant care:
It likes a lot of brightness, preferably avoiding direct sunlight.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to place it in sheltered places: it adapts perfectly to the temperatures of apartments and offices.
Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once every 10 days in summer and once a month in winter.
A well-draining soil suitable for succulents is an optimal solution: gravel can be added to facilitate drainage and we recommend pots with a diameter that is not very large, but that are rather deep.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
