Sansevieria aubrytiana 'Metallica'

Extremely ornamental succulent, commonly known as "mother-in-law’s tongue" or even "snake plant", in reference to its main peculiarities: it is in fact characterized by large flat leaves, long and lanceolate, strongly pointed and pointing upwards, of a shape similar to a tongue; its epidermis is also a beautiful emerald green, meticulously decorated with light green streaks that make it similar to the skin of a snake. S. aubrytiana is characterized by a rather slow growth but by great ease of cultivation, which is why it is perfect for furnishing even the environments of beginners. But that’s not all, in fact recent studies have shown that this succulent is able to purify the air of the interior spaces, helping to prevent respiratory diseases and facilitating concentration: a real cure-all for the environment and for our health!
