The monstrous shape of this succulent presents shape anomalies such as asymmetries or very particular reliefs that will never be identical in different plants, making each one unique and highly appreciated by collectors around the world. Also called "rock plant" because of its appearance that resembles a cracked rock, this small succulent almost spherical shape is without stem. It generally has a head but over the years it can generate more. The flower is extremely large (up to 7 cm in diameter) and has a color ranging from yellow to orange (rarely white and pinkish) with a net scent of coconut; normally blooms in early spring, but some plants can bloom in autumn.
