Ornithogalum apertum

It is a perennial geophyte succulent that grows up to 20 cm in height. It produces a spherical bulb, from which leaves up to 8 cm long and about 3-4 mm wide grow, that are of a bright green color, curved in the shape of a corkscrew. In spring, when the plant enters its dormant period, it produces a long stalk, on which yellow flowers with a green central stripe bloom. Ornithogalum apertum is a perfect succulent to adorn any type of environment.
