Oreocereus rettigii

It is a shrubby cactus of a cylindrical shape, which has large downy areoles of a white-greyish color, that makes a strong contrast with the green color of its epidermis. It is completely covered with thick spines: radial spines are small, thin, of a yellow color, while the central ones are long, thick, of a greyish color. At the apex it blooms with beautiful funnel-shaped reddish flowers.
