Oreocereus celsianus

It's a columnar and cylindrical cactaceae, surrounded by long and hairy filaments, which are yellowish that turn gray-white over time. The filaments are mainly denser in the apical part, creating some sort of a "hat", their function is to protect the stem from the sun. On the stem there are large and oval areoles of a white-gray color, with long spines of a yellow-brown color. The daytime flowering occurs in spring, when you can admire beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers of a pale pink color with purple shades. However, only adult plants bloom.
