Opuntia whipplei

Also called Cylindropuntia whipplei. It is a very branched shrub plant, that forms small bushes. Its green stems have a rounded shape and are covered with small white areoles, from which long, sharp and rigid white spines emerge. The inflorescence occurs in late spring, generating beautiful lime green flowers.
