Opuntia strigil cv. Kurt

A perennial plant also known as the "prickly pear of the plains". It is formed by flattened oval blades, that grow erect, covered with numerous yellow-orange areoles, from which various long spines, directed downwards, grow. In spring and summer it blooms with large yellow flowers with orange streaks.
