Opuntia fragilis

It is also known as "fragile prickly pear", it takes its name from the weak connection of its pads. It is a small cactus with a cylindrical, small and fleshy stem, with vertical green pads. It has downy orange areoles, from which minute golden spines emerge. During summer, it rarely blooms with bright yellow flowers.
