Obregonia denegrii f. variegata

This plant, already rare in itself, takes on an extremely high value in its variegated form, in which Obregonia has a predominantly very bright yellow color due to the lack of chlorophyll. Already in its normal form we speak of a real miniature jewel, which grows very slowly without ever exceeding a few centimeters in diameter, taking on a globular shape but definitely recognizable for its resemblance to a pineapple or a pine cone! The skin has a color that varies from green to gray. The spines grow at the ends of the tubercles and are white to brown in color. In summer, the funnel-shaped white flowers sprout from the wool of the top during the day.
