Monilaria pisiformis

Nice and original succulent that grows as a low but strongly branched shrub, characterized by a woody caudex covered by a whitish foliar sheath, almost paper, that covers and protects it. From each short branch grows a graceful spherical leaf, just like a pearl (hence the common name of "strands of pearls"): perhaps not many know that the succulent is able to produce a single bead per year, therefore counting the number of pearls will be possible to date back to the age of your Monilaria! Only then, annually, from the center of the sphere grow two other completely different V-shaped leaves, long and cylindrical, covered with three-dimensional white dots that facilitate the plant in maintaining its humidity for weeks! It is a succulent with an extremely extravagant look, perfect for those who want to give an extra edge to their collection or simply for those who want to beautify their environments with something that will certainly not go unnoticed!
