Really particular cactaceae : it has a stem which may reach slightly big dimensions, of cylindrical shape with conical tubercles. From these tubercles grow radial spines, long, thin and of a beautiful bright yellow. The single central spine is even longer with a brownish yellow hue. M. rovidiana is extremely wild, perfect to bring some of that desert charm in your home.
