Matucana intertexta f. variegated

Wonderful globose cactus, slightly depressed at the apex, which can take on a cylindrical course during growth. Equipped with longitudinal ribs little protruding but deeply tuberculate that give rise to a three-dimensional design similar to a network, it has yellow-brownish thorns not very robust but rather thick. The variegated shape presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each specimen will be absolutely unique! Between late spring and early summer this specimen generates wonderful tubular flowers on the notes of orange or golden yellow, ideal to bring a breath of life and color to your environments.
