Matucana celendinensis

A green globular cactus, similar to M. aureiflora. Unlike M. aureiflora, it has light yellow spines, thin, quite long and slightly curved towards the stem. The orange flower of M. celendinensis blooms in spring-summer and remains open both day and night. In nature it grows slowly, but if grown in a pot, it grows much faster.
