Description:
This plant is a hybrid of 2 species: Mangave 'Jaguar' and Mangave 'Bloodspot'. It is a rapidly growing succulent, it has long, narrow and fleshy leaves, of a light green color and covered with a waxy layer. Large dark spots can be seen along the leaves, which become much more evident under the direct sun, taking on a deep purple color. The edges of the foliage are equipped with small whitish teeth. The name 'Pineapple Express' derives from its appearance, similar to the tuft of a pineapple. With little attention Mangave will add an extravagant touch of color to both your apartments and your gardens.

Plant care:
It likes very bright places, however, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. It prefers environments with low humidity.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.
The best soil is a well-draining one, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
