Description:

Pleasant succulent characterized by a shrubby habit but a modest size; its slender woody stems, abundantly branched, do not in fact exceed 45-50 cm in height, giving life to a sort of graceful bush. The leaves grow facing upwards; they are very fleshy, elongated and triangular in section, ending at the apex in a slight tip that reddens with prolonged sun exposure. The pale green skin is even more delicate thanks to a sort of whitish bloom that completely covers it and protects it from atmospheric agents. In spring, the opaque appearance of the succulent contrasts nicely with the real strong point of this plant: in fact, abundant daisy-like and extremely bright inflorescences will blossom between the pastel-colored foliage, which will tend to cover the entire bush and give the environment a liveliness and a unique originality with their fuchsia petals adorned with a yellow center!

Plant care:

Likes very sunny and windy locations, free from humidity.

It prefers mild temperatures around 15-20 ° C or even higher; it is rather sensitive to cold, therefore in winter it is recommended to place it in sheltered and not humid places.

It is advisable to water moderately in summer, only when the soil is completely dry. In winter, however, it is preferable to completely suspend watering.

It prefers a particularly draining substratum, consisting of specific soil for succulents, to which lapillus or pumice can be added to make it even more porous.

It does not require frequent fertilization, it will be sufficient to dilute the liquid fertilizer with the water used for irrigation only once a year.
