Kalanchoe x richaudii

It is one of the very few hybrids present in the wilds, a spontaneous crossing happening in Madagascar between Kalanchoe rosei and Kalanchoe delagoensis, in which no human intervention was necessary. The resulting jewel has taken up the elongated elliptical shape and the asymmetrically serrated edges of K. rosei, while from the other “parent” it has inherited the soft and delicate colors. What was obtained is a wonderful succulent plant that does not reach considerable size, but immediately strikes for the smooth leaves of a beautiful light green, enriched by marginal teeth tinged with red due to sun exposure. Its flowers are extremely eye-catching and contrasting with the delicacy of the leaves, tubular and hanging, can grow to considerable size and give your rooms a touch of unparalleled cheerfulness!
