Kalanchoe x kewensis

Original succulent not present in nature, but obtained in the nurseries of Kew (hence the name of the species) probably from the cross between Kalanchoe flammea and Kalanchoe bentii. Made up of short cylindrical stems, it is characterized by large, extremely peculiar, fleshy, elongated leaves with almost pinnate margins with a profoundly asymmetrical course. The leaf epidermis is extremely bright, with an intense green which, depending on the season and the sun exposure, is tinged with showy red or purple shades. The combination of unusual shapes and bright colors gives life to an extremely ornamental and original plant, able to give your rooms an edge with its pleasant pink flowers.
