It is a succulent plant made up of tufts of stems that grow close together, reaching maximum heights of 5 cm but developing horizontally like a pleasant matte green cushion, enriched here and there by more or less intense purple hues depending on the season. Each stem has 4 ribs, often asymmetrical and not very protruding, with soft, teeth-like structures only a few millimeters long. The real strong point of the succulent is undoubtedly the flower: as typical of the Asclepiadaceae family, a decidedly spectacular 5-pointed inflorescence blooms in summer, with 5 points similar to a star, on the notes of yellow with brownish-red asymmetrical dots and a central corolla dark, so detailed that it looks like another flower in itself!
