Pleasant succulent characterized by slender cylindrical stems that do not exceed 10 cm in height, but tend to branch abundantly and prostrate towards the ground to give rise to pleasant tufts with a twisted pattern that extend for more than 30 cm of diameter. Each stem is characterized by little marked ribs, but equipped with protruding tubercles ending in soft sharp denticles. The epidermis, of an intense emerald green, tends with the sun exposure to take on wonderful purple shades, typical of the entire family of Asclepiadaceae. The real strength of the succulent is certainly the showy inflorescence: at the base of the stems bloom extravagant flowers with 5 pointed lobes and equipped with a deep floral tube, in which the soft cream color blends with the vibrant burgundy speckles for a truly breathtaking finish!
