H. humilis is a small, low-growing succulent that expands horizontally. It has a fleshy green trunk with a pyramid shape, composed of 4 serrated ribs. The strong point of this succulent are undoubtedly its inflorescences: large and star-shaped with five tips; they have fleshy yellow petals with reddish spots and streaks. In addition, at the center of the flower is a bump similar to a doughnut always red in color. The visual impact is very pleasant and captivating.
