Beautiful exemplar of succulent with low growth that expands horizontally. It has fleshy stems of light green color with ribs and pronounced tubercles almost serrated. With prolonged exposure to the sun, it takes on reddish shades. During the flowering period H. Bayeri gives small flowers in the shape of a star; colors ranging from cream white to opaque yellow, without spots or streaks.
