Hoya quinquenervia

This species of succulent vine commonly called 'Wax Flower' is highly appreciated by collectors all over the world for its particular appearance and beautiful flowers. H. quinquenervia is a hybrid obtained in the nurseries by crossing two different types of Hoya. Its leaves of intense green color are fleshy, with an oval shape and a glossy surface where you can see its 5 main veins that expand from the base of the leaf in the form of a ray towards the tip, the characteristic that gives it the name of quinquenervia. Its flowers bloom in the spring-summer period, have a star-like shape, are cream white or light yellow and give off a pleasant scent. A common feature of Hoya is the waxy appearance of the inflorescences that give the common name of 'Flower of Wax'. Its climbing habit, shiny and fragrant leaves make this plant perfect for the decoration of different indoor environments, giving a touch of elegance and delicacy.
