Description:
It is an evergreen geophytic plant that is highly appreciated and sought after by green collectors for its beautiful white flower, hence the name of the species. It produces a spherical bulb, from which 1 to 3 pairs of elliptical opposite pale green or greyish-green leaves emerge, which can reach up to 40 cm in length and 10 cm in width. The edges of the foliage are covered with soft whitish hairs. In late autumn, it produces an ovoid umbrella of numerous white flowers with bright yellow or bright orange stamens.

Plant care:
Requires an exposure in partial shade, as long as it still receives plenty of light throughout the year.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 12 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
It is advisable to always keep the soil moist enough, never dry, to prevent the bulb from drying out. Beware of stagnant water that could cause rotting.
The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
