Description:
Beautiful exemplar of cactaceae with a globose stem slightly depressed at the apex. It has well-marked ribs with a rhomboidal shape, on which are found the woolly white areoles. From the latter come out the radial and central spines: the first are thin, needle-like, whitish with brown tips and slightly curved towards the stem. The central ones, instead, are less numerous; curved upwards of dark brown color and thicker than the radials. Its delicate funnel-shaped flowers grow at the apex of the plant and are of colors ranging from cream white to light pink.

It resists up to minimum temperatures of about 5 ° C, which is why in winter it is advisable to place it under cover.
