Gymnocactus mandragora

Beautiful specimen of Gymnocactus with small dimensions and strongly barbed. Its green globose stem has protruding, rhomboidal tubercles with fluffy areoles at the apex of each. From these areolas come out its numerous spines that completely cover the stem; the radials are thin, long and white while the central ones, 2-3 of number are longer, robust with brown coloured tips. Its flowers bloom at the apex of the stem, are white with pink central stripes. Gymnocactus are small in size and highly sought after because they are extremely rare.
