Escobaria orcuttii var. macraxina

This small cactaceae has a globular shape which, over time, tends to cluster at the base. Its bluish-green stem is completely covered with a thick white down. It has thin, star-shaped, white radial spines, while the central ones are rather long, of a yellow-orange color, which tend to grow upwards. Its funnel-shaped flowers are of a light pink color, with darker veins inside.
