Escobaria laredoi

This small cactaceae has a globular habit which, over time, tends to cluster at the base. Its deep green stem is completely covered with dense and thin radial spines, which are white and translucent. Its funnel-shaped flowers are of a light magenta color with darker veins inside, which bloom from the apex of the stem.
