Description:
Beautiful succulent, made up of stems up to 30 cm high but with an extremely small diameter, which therefore often tend to prostrate themselves on the ground as they grow. Each stem has a rounded section and is equipped with little pronounced tubercles, of a beautiful opaque green which, depending on the sun exposure, tends to take on pleasant reddish-brown shades. The real strong point of E. nubica is its spectacular flowers, which bloom in autumn directly from the length of the stem: from the shape of a 5-pointed star, they present a spectacular contrast between the dark red of the petals and the bright yellow of their internal crown!

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce watering to once every two months in autumn, and to suspend it completely in winter.
The best soil is a well-draining and porous one, even better if further enriched with 50% or more of inert materials such as pumice, lapilli or clay.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
