Dorstenia foetida f. variegata

The variegated form of this succulent has the typical yellow areas in the exact points where chlorophyll is absent: these streaks will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each specimen will be absolutely unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by succulents enthusiasts. It is a rare succulent plant that forms a caudex, in Chinese it is called 臭 琉 桑 "Stinking mulberry". Its green and erect stem, conical in shape, tends to branch quickly; at the end of the branches, lanceolate leaves of bright green color with evident veins are born. In spring, very particular inflorescences are born from the long peduncle, green, grayish and orange in color. Along the edges of the inflorescence you can see long "tentacles" that make this plant unique and special.
