It is a rare succulent plant that forms a caudex. In Chinese it is called 臭 琉 桑 "Smelly mulberry". Its green and erect conical stem can branch out. From the apex of the branches the lanceolate bright green leaves with evident veins arise. In spring, very particular inflorescences are born from the long peduncle, which are green, gray and orange in color. Along the edges of the inflorescence you can see long ''tentacles'' that make this plant unique and particular.
