Discocactus horstii (Own roots) (CITES)

The Discocactus horstii is a small, extremely rare cactus and therefore sought after by expert collectors, with a globular shape and numerous white-tipped tubercles. The color of the stem is a dark green with very slight lighter shades. On the top there is abundant whitish fluff from which the flower is born, which usually blooms at night and give off a rather pleasant smell. The name genus derives from its roundness. The body of the plant has no thorns, but in this case, it was grafted to speed up its growth which, otherwise, would certainly have been very slow. This plant is perfect to give a touch of originality and refinement to any style of home decor!
