Cylindropuntia ramosissima (Red flower)

C. ramosissima is a succulent exemplar characterized by long cylindrical stems, from which depart numerous branches. It has well marked tubercles and woolly white areoles from which emerge its robust spines. They are very robust, long and of yellowish or greyish hues. This plant can reach remarkable heights; its large flowers bloom at the apex of the branches and are fuchsia pink or intense yellow.
