Corynopuntia moelleri

A cactacea with a ground cover that tends to branch out considerably, forming dense bushes. It has globular and ovoid joints of a dark green-greyish color. It is often found at rather high altitudes. It has tiny slightly downy areoles from which stiff spines of varying length come out: the radial spines are erect and of a white color, while the central ones are more robust and of a reddish-brown color. Funnel-shaped lime green flowers bloom during the inflorescence period.
