It is a dwarf succulent that does not exceed 4 centimeters in height, but rather tends to develop horizontally, forming small pretty carpets, with its fleshy and globular leaves, which are slightly flattened at the apex, where they take on a slightly bilobed appearance. The plant is of a very light green color, however, it tends to change considerably, depending on the weather and the seasons, ranging up to greyish, pink or even brown. In spring the old leaves shrivel and become a sheath that protects the new shoots from heat, while in the cold period this plant gives its best by blooming with showy whitish flowers.
